Digital Citizenship: Smart & Safe on the Internet

by  Banyan Global Learning

Program image

Learners help Raz, a friend from "planet Digitopolis," understand what’s safe to click on the internet, and other ways to stay safe online. Sometimes it’s hard to ask for help when we make a mistake. So, learners help Raz practice ways to ask for help from an adult. Join BGL and our puppet friends on a journey to becoming responsible digital citizens!

This fun, interactive series explores digital citizenship with a crew of puppet friends. Learners in grades pre-K-6 will get loads of practical tips for digital citizenship as they guide their new puppet friends to solve real-world problems in technology. Developmentally appropriate activities prepare learners with future-ready skills. This unique online learning experience is based on the SEL zones of regulation model from Leah Kuypers, MA.Ed.

Banyan Global Learning is a virtual education content provider with a global network of innovative educators. Our live virtual programs connect learners to undiscovered places, new people and fresh ideas

Our programs are taught LIVE and on location (time zone permitting) with TWO teachers — one driving the lesson progression and the other engaging from the field. These dynamic programs are unlike any educational program you have experienced.

We have created a suite of virtual programs to reach all levels of learners in three main content areas: Social and Emotional Learning, Digital Citizenship, and Global Citizenship.

We love designing new programs, so if we don't currently have what you're looking for, just ask.

Banyan Global Learning believes in the power of live video to bridge cultural divides, expand empathetic thinking and prepare our students to navigate real life. We are mission-driven to create authentic connections that fulfill the needs of students and teachers alike.
