Jay Mankita in Concert

by  Playful Engineers

Program image

Before starting Playful Engineers in 2015, Artist Engineer Jay Mankita had been busy performing for kids and families throughout the Northeast for over 25 years.

Now he puts on his other hat as a masterful guitarist, humorist, and songwriter - his maker space workshop is also his recording/live-streaming studio. Jay's songs travel the world - he's a seasoned veteran of the children's circuit, having presented concerts for over 2000 schools, libraries, theaters, and museums.

A musical activist in ecology, nutrition, peace, and justice, Jay is a Parents’ Choice award winning songwriter, a Putumayo recording artist, and an engaging performer.

His musical concerts are refreshingly positive and spontaneous, often funny, and always fun.
