Serving our five-state region since 1976, DHDC is an interactive, hands-on science learning center which hosts tens of thousands of participants through our Education Program each year.

Our distance learning sessions feature our Science Live! shows which are 45 to 60-minute long "edu-tainment" events bursting with hair-raising demonstrations and explosive results live-streamed into your classrooms and auditoriums in spectacular high definition.  Funny, engaging, and jam-packed with learning, Science Live! will leave your students cheering for more!

Program Details

Format

The name says it all. Shapes, states of matter, solutions, and physical and chemical changes are just a few of the scientific principles examined in this highly entertaining lab.

Grades PK-2 investigate solutions and variables in experiments as they create two different oozes and compare their characteristics.

Grades 3-5 explore solutions, chemical reactions, and properties of polymers as they create and test oozes using different ingredients.
