The Royal BC Museum is filled with Natural History specimens of animals big and small. Skulls, fish in jars, full taxidermy mounts- hundreds of thousands of species that are familiar and unusual. This snapshot tour will look at some of these specimens within the gallery, exploring different methods of close looking to understand what we are looking at and techniques of sketching what we are seeing. Participants will need paper and something to sketch with.
