September 11, 2001 - a day that is seared into the minds of millions and changed the course of history. Yet for students today, it is an event that is hard to grasp and understand.

As the world approaches the 20th anniversary of these terrorist attacks, the International Spy Museum will host a virtual teacher professional development workshop to examine the crucial role intelligence played leading up to, during, and following the events of that fateful day, Join SPY's youth education team and the historian/curator, D. Andrew Hammond, as they delve into declassified documents and provide teachers with a better understanding of intelligence in national security. By the end, teachers will come away with classroom activities and resources to assist them in teaching this important and complex event in our nation's history.
