Program Details

Format

1 - We start by discussing adaptations of birds and raptors specifically
2 - Meet a falcon! Students will see a live falcon up close and learn about where it lives and how it hunts
3 - Meet an owl! Students will see a live owl to learn about its habitat and adaptations
4 - Discuss how humans impact raptor populations and how we can help!
5 - Time for questions

Objectives

Students will be able to name 3 adaptations of each animal they met today
Students will identify 1 way they can help raptor populations
