Join one of our educators here at Sea Turtle, Inc. as we dive into the world of Mollusks.  Participants will have the opportunity to follow along with a dissection and learn about the anatomy and adaptations of squid.

This program is geared towards 5th-8th Grade students, but can be adapted for any age!

Format

Program begins with an interactive presentation covering:
1. What is Taxonomy?
2. What Makes a Mollusk a Mollusk?
3. Specific Characteristics of Mollusks
4. Squid Dissection

This program concludes with a live squid dissection and a question and answer session.
