3. Watch the Bully Jr. video.
4. Participate in a “shields of protection” activity.
5. Discuss the connection between violent media and bullying.
Objectives
Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
1. Define bullying.
2. State two effects that bullying can have on the target person.
3. Name three ways to avoid being the target of a bully.
4. State three reasons to deal with anger or stress in a positive manner.
5. State that increased TV viewing increases aggressive behavior.
6. Identify four steps to handling bullying situations or conflicts.
7. Define the term "active bystander".
8. List two actions that an active bystander may take.
