Judd Sunshine and his partners, The Hill Brothers, consulted with school counselors and other resources to create a show that promotes a bully free school and community. Songs and age appropriate humor are used to convey important messages to students about the different forms of bullying, nonviolent interventions employed to help victims, and leaning techniques to help yourself if victimized.

Program Details

Format

The program begins with a participatory welcome song
The next song, "There's No Place for Bullies in our School", describes the different forms of bullying (physical, verbal/cyber, exclusion)
The next section describes nonviolent intervention in order to help victims of bullying and is followed by a song, "We Will Help"
The next song "Vicious Vinny" humorously describes mistakes that a vicitim can make before realizing the right way to get help
The students will be asked to make a pledge to "Not Bully Anyone" - and the the pledge is celebrated with lively song....
A wrap up and a song reprise concludes the presentation

Objectives

The objective of the show is raise consciousness with students about different forms of bullying, how they can help without violence, and what to do if they are bullied.
