Gardens and Climate Change at President's Park

This is a teacher-led lesson plan. Upon signing up, teachers will receive the full lesson plan and all accompanying materials. In this lesson, students will explore the importance and relevance of gardens at the White House as well as the effects of climate change in the DC parks. They will learn about the different types of gardens found at  the White House. Students will become familiar with the common climate change terms and the lesson also includes interactive activities like experiments that encourage students to continue learning about climate change at home.
