Format
1. This program begins with talking why we need teeth and the different types of teeth we have.
2. We then do an activity explain how plaque builds up and sugar sticks to it. So, it is important to brush our teeth.
3. We then go over how to properly brush our teeth and practice.
4. We talk about visiting the dentist and how they help keep our teeth clean and healthy.
5. Then we talk about different types of foods that are good for our teeth.
6. The participants will then have a chance to take pretend food and put it in a healthy mouth or an unhealthy mouth.
Objectives
1. Students will recognize proper dental habits for everyday care.
2. Students will demonstrate proper flossing and brushing techniques.
