Format
1. This program begins with explain what makes an emergency.
2. We then discuss who can help in an emergency.
3. We then talk about what is not considered an emergency.
4. Participants will learn how to stay safe and how to get help if there is an emergency.
5. Lastly, we go through scenarios and decide if they are emergencies or not.
Objectives
Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
1. Distinguish between an emergency and a non-emergency situation.
2. Demonstrate how to call 9-1-1 and be prepared to answer questions asked by emergency staff.
3. Identify skills needed in an emergency.
