Schedule 5 of the same program on the same day and one will be free! Please include a purchase order number when you submit a reservation. Bridging fees will be paid by the customer. An invoice will be sent after successful delivery of each program. A 1.5% late charge will be added 30 days after the invoice date. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your confirmed videoconference date to avoid billing. Payment is due in full upon receipt of the invoice. Checks should be made to McMillen Health in US Dollars. Non-payment will result in the denial of further registration from your organization.

Program Details

Format

1. This program begins with defining what prescription
medication abuse is
2. Then participants learn what an overdose is and what
opioids are
3. We discuss who it ok to take medication from and who
its not
4. Participants engage in an activity to identify what pills
are real and which ones are fake
5. Participants will review key points about proper
procedures for medication use

Objectives

Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:

1. Define medication abuse as using a medication in a
way that is different from how your doctor told you to
use it.
2. Define overdose as taking a dangerously high amount
of a drug or medication
3. List two times when it is okay to take a prescription
medication.
4. Name at least 2 people it is okay to accept medication
from.
5. Define side effects as other effects we may feel when
we take a medication.
