Format
1. This program begins with a discussion about which
foods have the highest fat content
2. Then participants learn about how too much dietary fat
can affect blood vessel and therefore cause heart
problems
3. We discuss macronutrients and making healthier food
choices
4. Participants will choose between foods to determine
which ones are healthier
5. Participants will learn about portion size and the
importance of living an active lifestyle
Objectives
Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
1. List three high fat food items.
2. State that a high fat diet can cause heart disease.
3. List three healthy foods.
4. State two ways a person can live a healthy lifestyle.
