Format
1. This program begins with talking about their daily routine.
2. We then discuss the different types of exercise
3. Then we do the freeze dance.
4. We then talk about how movement keeps us healthy.
5. Lastly, we talk about how to be active during different seasons.
Objectives
Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
1. Identify the importance of living an active lifestyle.
2. Name three activities that would be a way to get exercise.
3. Name three ways to stay active when the weather is not appropriate.
4. State that exercise is beneficial for the body and mind.
5. List challenges of exercise for students with disabilities and how to overcome these.
