Travel with us as humpback whales through the western Atlantic Ocean and learn all about them, as well as animals they see along their migration. We will showcase some marine animals at the zoo and round out the session with an activity at the end.

Available times are from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm ESTCANCELLATION POLICY: In the event that a program must be canceled due to weather, technical issues, or other circumstances beyond the control of the Zoo or program recipient, the program may be rescheduled at a later date agreeable to both parties for no additional charge (dependent of availability). If cancellation occurs for any other reason than listed above, a cancellation fee will apply.RESCHEDULING POLICY: In the event that a program needs to be rescheduled for any reason other than those listed above, then the Zoo must be notified at least three weeks before the date of the program. We do not reschedule inside the three weeks of the scheduled program date. A rescheduling fee will apply.REFUND POLICY: Once registration is confirmed, the Rosamond Gifford Zoo adheres to a no-refund, no-credit policy. If a program is canceled at any time for any reason other than those listed above, no refund or credit will be given. Substitution of another group of participants of the same age is permitted with prior notification given at least three weeks before the date of the program.

1. Participant will interact with facilitator using a variety of options such as the chat feature, polls, live discussion, question/answer session, etc. 2. Meet two to four animals guests and discover more about oceans.3. Explore the Atlantic ocean through humpback whales
1. Guests will learn about the anatomy of a humpback whale and discover ways to identify them from other whales.2. We will then learn about why/where they make their annual migration.3. We will show animals at the zoo that they would see on their migration.4. The presentation is then rounded out with an activity about whales at the end.
