Format
1. This program begins with an introduction about the 5 senses touch, taste, sight, smell, and hearing, and how those senses are interpreted in the brain
2. Students are engaged in a question and response style dialectic to learn more about the 5 senses, and the accompanying organs
3. Students will partake in and observe demonstrations that will allow them to use their senses
4. Students will be provided guided instruction to complete their project
5. If time permits, the teacher will take questions
Objectives
- Students will be able to identify and distinguish the 5 senses: touch, taste, sight, smell, and hearing
- Students will be able to identify which parts of the face/body perceive the senses
- Children will utilize each sense to gain information about the environment
