Take a breath and prepare for a deep dive into the world of marine life, without the worry of getting wet! In this virtual program, you will tour the world's oceans, meet fascinating animal ambassadors and biofacts from beneath the waves, and discover ways you can keep the seas clean!


This program includes a 15 minute question and answer session with a conservation educator. As a virtual program, any animal visits are conducted via Zoom.

• To cancel a program(s), please call 417-225-1162.
• Cancellations made two weeks or more prior to your scheduled program will be refunded the entire cost of the program(s), minus a $10 service fee.
• There will be no refunds for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the scheduled program.
• In cases of snow and ice, we reserve the right to cancel a program for the safety of museum staff and animals. A full refund for the cost of the program will be granted if the program cannot be rescheduled.
• In cases of snow and ice where school is canceled and virtual learning is not an option, you reserve the right to reschedule the program for a later date.

Program Details

Format

1.We get a brief introduction with our presenter, as they give a brief background on themselves and Wonders of Wildlife.
2. We then do a series of true and false questions to gauge participants' knowledge.
3. We then discuss the five oceans of the world and their unique traits, species, and benefits.
4. We then discuss the three groups of see animals that make up the ocean. We talk about Sharks, Sea Turtles, and Jellies.
5. Participants discuss ways to help protect marine ecosystems from a home or classroom setting.
6. We then do an up to 15 minute Q&A.

Objectives

Participants will:
-Compare the species, habitats, and unique features of the world's five oceans
-Observe physical traits that allow marine species to thrive in their environments
-Dispel myths around famous ocean animals like sharks and jellies
-Cultivate an appreciation for marine life and spaces
-Brainstorm ways to help marine ecosystems from home or the classroom
