Investigating Invertebrates

by  North Carolina Zoo

Program image

What is an invertebrate? Isn’t that just a bug? Come join us for Investigating Invertebrates to learn more about what kind of animals they are, fun facts, and foster an appreciation for these often misunderstood animals. Creepy crawlies are not to be feared but instead, we should understand how they are important to the ecosystem. Foster an appreciation of invertebrates and ease the fear of the ‘creepy
crawlies’ for this age group.  Teach
respect and why they are so important to our ecosystem.
