Objectives
1. This program begins with a discussion of how My Plate can be adapted for teens.
2. Students identify foods as minimally, moderately, or highly processed.
3. The benefits of a healthy breakfast are discussed.
4. Students learn and practice several self-regulation strategies to deal with stress.
5. Students analyze media’s influence over their food choices.
6. The program concludes by having students set a personal SMART goal related to nutrition and diet.
