Awards, Quotes, Testimonials

Hands-on activities result in greater opportunities for exploration and learning. Having a hands-on science expert during the video conference was like having a guest speaker in the room. Students loved it and gained knowledge and experience from this program. The box of materials that arrived from the Discovery Center was most useful, both before and after the videoconference, since our school does not have many materials used in the program. -Middle School Educator

It was informative, engaging, and the topic is one kids really need to think about in terms of correct eating habits! Students were engaged during the whole VC. I think seeing the video of the stomach working and the experiments will be something they will long remember and hopefully will impact their eating habits. I would highly recommend this program. -4th grade educator

Having an expert face-to-face with the students had a lasting impact on them. They were highly engaged in the activity. The program brought real world experts on genetics to our rural school. Traditional classroom settings just cannot grab students interest as can video conferences. -Middle School Educator
