Junko Kobayashi has over 15 years of experience delighting school and community audiences as a teaching artist with Young Audiences of Massachusetts. She is the Artistic Director of Odaiko New England, a non-profit performing arts group dedicated to sharing their love and passion of the taiko art form. Junko is also a performing member of Taikoza, an international touring group based in New York. She has studied taiko with many taiko masters including Elaine Fong, Mark H Rooney, Kenny Endo, Tiffany Tamarabuchi, Kaoru Watanabe, Kris Bergstrom and Marco Lienhard.  A trained percussionist, Junko has also worked for musical instrument companies such as Kurzweil, SoniVox, and Alesis as a sound designer, designing drum and percussion sounds,
