Presenter: Michelle L. Watson
Date: January 14, 2009

Session Overview:
Are you looking to offer your Special Needs Students alternative forms of learning? Are you looking to offer Gifted Students additional, challenging learning opportunities? Are you seeking Enrichment Opportunities to add to your curriculum? Or, are you merely trying to figure out where to begin? Michelle will give an overview that helps to sort out those confusions by explaining a three-prong approach to differentiation and how it can support each of those areas. In this introductory session, she will define differentiation and explore the importance of responding to learners based upon their readiness, interest level, and learning styles.
