Cisco Connected Teacher Badge
The Cisco Connected Teacher Badge is for a classroom teacher that is using Webex before, during and after class to impact the culture of student learning within their own classroom. This badge will enable you to explore new pedagogical approaches while using Webex Teams in your classroom and determine the effectiveness of using collaboration tools. Educators will gain the following competencies which are aligned to ISTE Standards for Educators.

To Earn this Badge

The Cisco Virtual Field Trip Teacher Badge or the Cisco Collaboration Teacher Badge is a prerequisite for this badge.

Submit an Intent to Participate form to CILC.

Fill out an application form of intent and CILC will provide you with instruction to obtain your webex account. CILC staff will provide a training video, links and work with you to schedule your live training workshop at a time of your convenience if desired. (ISTE 5c)

Review the Cisco Webex Privacy and Security FAQ for Webex use with minors

Use the CILC Collaboration Center site to post and find 1 or more teachers to collaborate with. (ISTE 1b)

With your class, use Webex, to host or join a Collaboration project with the other teachers' class(es).

Document the Collaboration experience by creating a video recording about your Collaboration experience (2-3 minutes). Possible Topics for Video Recordings (ISTE 4a)
