August 5, 2019

The Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC) is excited to announce its 2018‐2019 Pinnacle Award winners!CILC Pinnacle Award 2018-19 Logo

Each year, Content Providers from around the world are recognized for their “Programs of Distinction,” and for receiving outstanding ratings on program evaluation by educators and activity directors. Content Providers, representing museums, science centers, art galleries, zoos, aquariums, musicians, and authors, as recipients of this annual award, stand out as demonstrating remarkable quality of educational content and exceptional skill at program delivery.

"As a former Content Provider, I couldn’t wait for the CILC Pinnacle Awards to be announced. The Pinnacle was something our museum strived for throughout the year, as it was so meaningful to receive recognition from the CILC members. Now as a CILC employee, I still look forward to seeing who receives the Pinnacle Award, this year bestowed upon over 70 Content Providers! Congratulations to each of you for your hard work and dedication throughout the year.” said Tami Moehring, Content Provider Liaison.

Karla Bloem, Executive Director of the International Owl Center, is receiving the Pinnacle Award for the first time this year. She states, “The International Owl Center is happy to deliver interactive programs to extend our educational reach. We have appreciated the guidance provided by CILC staff and host organizations to make our programs exceptional for the participants. We hope this award will encourage other groups to explore our program offerings.”

The Pinnacle Award was first awarded in 2008 and has become a CILC tradition.
