Objective of Collaboration
Hello, my name is Amaris Smith, and I teach 3rd grade at Ellisor Elementary in Magnolia, Texas, located 40 miles north west of Houston. I am looking for a 3rd grade class from the Pacific coast, the Northwest US, or Alaska to videoconference with the week before Thanksgiving (one day between November 14th and the 22nd). We are hoping to discuss Thanksgiving traditions as they apply to communities and families from those regions. I would also like to include a session on the weather in both regions -- a share about climactic conditions, general weather trends, or other weather related topics. Family Traditions and Weather can be covered in one videoconference, or they can be dealt with in two or more separate sessions. If you are interested, please contact me.
