10th Grade Global Studies students want to hold a Rain Forest Trial with another class. Scenario: Oil Company sues gov't because access to rain forest was denied. Indigenous tribes sue because their habitat for living is destroyed. Students at both ends take on roles in the trial: Oil Co., Gov't., Indigenous people, environmentalists, medical researchers, jury, prosecutor, defense attorney. Teacher: Carolyn Blume.
