A collaborative Cyberbullying project - High Students would meet twice via ITV. During the first they will watch a powerpoint that contains video clips and discuss their reactions to the clips. They will be given a research assignment and asked to create a presentation on cyberbullying and present to other schools via ITV. During the second session the high school students will present their PSA's to middle school students.
PART 1
First Conference – 11:30-12:30 EST
Wednesday, February 10, 2010 - A Day-Block 3 (Snow Date, Tuesday, February 16)
Participants: Technology HS and one other high school
During this informational conference students at both sites will watch a PowerPoint presentation with video clips on cyberbullying – including the one that touches upon a 14 year old boys suicide and discuss cyberbullying.
Research assignment:
The students will research cyber-bulling
They will define the term. They will select one type of cyberbully to discuss
The students will create a short (1 minute or less) PSA (Public Service Announcement) using either PowerPoint (or google docs presentation) or movie maker to address the issue of cyberbullying.

5-8 students from each site (depending on time) will present their PSA to the other high school and 2 middle schools. They will discuss cyberbullying and encourage the middle school students to create their own PSA as an outreach project to elementary schools
