Each year, CILC recognizes outstanding Content Providers with the Pinnacle Award, honoring organizations whose live virtual learning experiences receive the highest ratings from educators, librarians, activity directors, and other program hosts. The Pinnacle Award celebrates Content Providers that consistently deliver exceptional educational value, meaningful learner engagement, and professionally facilitated interactive experiences that inspire curiosity and create lasting connections. First established in 2008, the Pinnacle Awards have become one of CILC's highest honors, recognizing excellence in live virtual learning year after year. Award recipients are announced each August to help schools, libraries, senior living communities, and organizations identify trusted providers offering outstanding interactive learning experiences.
