2. Information about men who have survived testicular cancer
3. Description of how and when to perform TSE
4. Practice on testicular models IF models have been shipped to the site - otherwise a discussion of the procedure will be held with the educator demonstrating the exam technique.
Organizations who opt to have models shipped to them will need to inquire about a deposit on the models and will be responsible for the cost of shipping the models to their school and back to McMillen Health.
Objectives
1. Define relevant terms for testicular cancer and the age range for development of testicular cancer
2. Identify the main risk factor for testicular cancer
3. Name the main benefit of early detection
4. Perform TSE if model are available -otherwise describe the procedure
5. Explain when TSE should be done
6. List what steps should be taken if an abnormality is discovered
7. A brief description of treatment options follows.
