Students will learn about a variety of contraceptive options for both men and women. A brief discussion of the reproductive system will be addressed. The pros and cons of condoms, birth control pills, inter-uterine devices (IUD), and the birth control shot will be discussed.

Schedule 5 of the same program on the same day and one will be free! Please include a purchase order number when you submit a reservation. Bridging fees will be paid by the customer. An invoice will be sent after successful delivery of each program. A 1.5% late charge will be added 30 days after the invoice date. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your confirmed videoconference date to avoid billing. Payment is due in full upon receipt of the invoice. Checks should be made to McMillen Health in US Dollars. Non-payment will result in the denial of further registration from your organization.

Program Details

Format

1. This program begins with a review of the reproductive system.
2. We then discuss consent and give examples.
3. We view a video of how to store, use, and dispose of condoms.
4. Participants discuss the pros and cons of different birth control methods.
5. Time is allowed for questions and answers.

Objectives

Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:

1. Adults will identify genitals for both males and females.
2. Adults will identify who to ask to request proper contraceptives for sexual activity.
3. Adults will recognize proper contraceptives to use during sexual activity.
4. Adults will recognize proper hygiene habits to use after sexual activity.
