Archaeology of the Stars

by  Don Harrington Discovery Center Amarillo

Program image

How many of us stare at the stars at night? How many of us know all the constellations that rest so high above our heads? They're hard to see these days with so much light pollution. But these same stars we see every night are the same ones that our ancestors gazed upon thousands of years ago. The stars connect us to our ancestors, to all who have come before us. Come and join me as we take a look at how the ancients used the stars to understand their world.
