Science Live! Shows are interactive “edu-tainment” programs showcasing a variety of science concepts.
Objectives
Grades PK-5
• Investigate how the way an animal moves, lives and eats relates to its environment
• Identify how changes in a food chain can affect the entire ecosystem
• Classify living and nonliving things based on their basic needs
Grades 6-8
• Recognize the characteristics of taxonomic groups
• Describe relationships between animals such as producer/consumer and predator/prey.
• Identify how different environments support different varieties of organisms
Grades 9-12 and Adults
• Investigate and analyze how changes in external factors affect organisms, populations, and communities
• Compare characteristics of taxonomic groups
• Compare and contrast how organisms have adapted to various ecosystems
