Students will have the opportunity to interact and speak with a trainer or dolphin expert who is live on the docks with members of our dolphin family. This is a question and answer style session which allows it to be customized to a variety of grade levels as well as content and curriculum areas. The program requester submits a list of key topics or questions for our experts to focus on and the participants help to guide the rest.

We will not charge for programs canceled due to nature i.e. snow days. The full fee will be charged to sites which cancel with less than 48 hours notice. Payment is due 72 hours before the program. If payment is not received by this time the program is subject to cancellation. Dolphin Research Center reserves the right to cancel programs at anytime. If Dolphin Research Center cancels a program than it will contact the requester to discuss rescheduling options. If a program does not occur because of an error in communication between the requester and Dolphin Research Center, requesters will still be changed the full price of the programs. Sites need to participate in a tech run with Dolphin Research Center staff members. This will be scheduled to occur prior to your program date. If the tech run does not occur the full fee will be charged to sites that cannot connect at program time.**** Please be advised that the program that is being requested is a live outdoor program that can be impacted by weather. The weather in the Florida Keys can be highly unpredictable. Dolphin Research Center cannot be held responsible for acts of nature. In the event of inclement weather the program requester will be contacted as soon as is possible to discuss additional scheduling options. Anybody that is requesting a live program should be prepared and have back up plans available for their students in the event of inclement weather at the host (Dolphin Research Center) site.**** This program is live and outdoors. 1. Program will open with an introduction of the trainer/dolphin experts as well as the dolphins involved in the program.2. The trainer/dolphin expert will start off by giving some basic information about the dolphins as well as the marine environment.3. If specific questions and topics were provided before hand the trainer/dolphin expert will address those through a demonstration with the dolphins.4. The trainer/dolphin expert will facilitate a question and answer session with the program participants.

All programs will meet the following objectives:Participants will gain a better appreciation of dolphins and the adaptations that allow them to survive in their marine environment.Participants will discuss the different ways in which humans can impact the dolphins' environment and what they can do to make a positive difference.
