Located in Central Pennsylvania, the Byrnes Health Education Center is an organization who is dedicated to the misson of educating and inspiring healthy choices in people of all ages.  Our team is proud to offer a variety of health education programming for students in Pre-K thru Grade 12.  Broadcasting LIVE from The Center's teaching theaters, students are engaged through interactive exhibits & props, and presented content that adheres to national education standards.  Subject areas include Character Education/Bullying Prevention, Drug Education, General Health, Human Growth & Development, Nutrition & Fitness, Oral Health and Safety & Disease Prevention.  Each of our programs are mapped to all 50 state educational standards as well as those in Canada.  We are passionate about health education and are thrilled to be partnering with you!

2. Representations of each color: Gold (song activity), Green (song activity), Blue (song activity), Orange (song activity)
3. Personalities/colors can clash - must learn to work together (Favorite food activity) & (Tunnel Forward activity)
4. Conflict - what is it?, feelings can change (Roller coaster analogy)
5. Communication - what is it?, examples, (Feelings Cards activity)
6. Anger - normal to have angry feelings, but never acceptable to be disrespectful, (Cool Down activity), & (Toothpaste activity)

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

1. Identify basic personality types.

2. Identify healthy communication skills, team work skills, and conflict resolution skills.

3. Identify types of bullying (verbal, physical, social, and cyber), bullying situations, and proper ways to handle bullying situations.
