Observing Animals with Lewis and Clark

by  Saint Louis Zoo

Program image

Join us for a cross-curricular classroom expedition as we make scientific observations of animals as Lewis and Clark once did! We’ll review how new discoveries were recorded and what animals were found. Through authentic experiences, students will observe together and share their discoveries using skills that Lewis and Clark used to create the journals made during their 19th century expedition.
