by  Long Island Science Center

Program image

Dream it, build it, print it!  The world of 3D printing has endless possibilities.  Students will learn the basics of how to use a 3D design program and how a 3D printer works. This class can be done as a one hour introductory class or as a multi-session class that delves deeper into the functions of the CAD program. Students must have access to a compatible computer, Chromebook, or tablet.  It is suggested though not required that they also have a mouse and mousepad for ease of use of the program.  The students projects will be mailed to you. If you select the multi-session option, there will be a small materials kit mailed to you.  When booking this program you must provide us with a list of your students names a week in advance so that we can set up your virtual classroom.
