Matter Mystery Squad

Roper Mountain’s Matter Mystery Squad has been tasked with solving the mystery of the unknown animal. Participants will begin with a sorting activity introduction with their own objects and then will apply the same principles to animals that call Roper Mountain Science Center home in an attempt to solve a mystery.

The following fee structure is used:
Greenville County - FREE
South Carolina - $50 per session; buy four, get the fifth FREE (All five programs must be booked at the same time to qualify)
Out-of-State - $100 per session; buy four, get the fifth FREE (All five programs must be booked at the same time to qualify)

Invoices are sent by email, and payment is due within 30 days of your session.

3. Visit with a scientist showcasing animals
4. Clue analysis
5. Students determine mystery animal
6. Time for questions

• Identify properties of objects and sort them based on observable characteristics.
• Analyze and interpret data to classify physical properties.
