This program will look at not just the "what and how" of animal care, but also the "why" behind every decision.

Objectives

Participants will:
-Explore the work that goes into taking care of animals in a large zoo.
-Learn about social-emotional care of animals as well as physical care
-Learn how food prep is handled for a variety of animal and diet types.
-Explore the various responsibilities of zoo keepers.
