Digital Citizenship: Handle Technology With Care

by  Banyan Global Learning

Program image

Welcome aboard the Digital Citizen Ship! Join our puppet friend Tangie as she travels to Earth to learn how to be the best digital citizen she can be. But, Tangie isn’t always sure how things work, and she gets herself in some trouble when she loses her device. Can you help Tangie learn how to safely handle her device?

Young learners help our puppet friend Tangie learn how to be responsible with technology. Tangie joins us LIVE on camera so we can help her find her device. By interacting with a live puppet, learners are invited into the world of Digitopolis in an SEL-friendly way. Our puppet friends give permission to children to make mistakes - and ask for help to fix them.

Banyan Global Learning is a virtual education content provider with a global network of innovative educators. Our live virtual programs connect learners to undiscovered places, new people and fresh ideas

Our world culture programs are taught LIVE and on location (time zone permitting) with TWO teachers — one driving the lesson progression and the other engaging from the field. These dynamic programs are unlike any educational program you have experienced.

We have created a suite of virtual programs to reach all levels of learners in three main content areas: World Culture, Digital Citizenship, and Social Emotional Learning.

We love designing new programs, so if we don't currently have what you're looking for, just ask.

Banyan Global Learning believes in the power of live video to bridge cultural divides, expand empathetic thinking and prepare our students to navigate real life. We are mission-driven to create authentic connections that fulfill the needs of students and teachers alike.
