Virtually travel the globe with the Memphis Zoo and meet three animals from three different habitats!


Your Zoo Educator will bring out three different animal species during this livestream program. Students will uncover the roles that each of these animals have in their habitat as well as how they are important to us!

Each continent on this planet includes multiple habitats. Will animals living in South America have the same features as animals living in Africa? Come join us to find out!

Provider's Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to participate in your virtual program on the date you registered, we can reschedule your group to another date for a $5 transfer fee at any time. If you are unable to reschedule your program, and cancel with more than 2 weeks notice, you will receive a full refund. If you must cancel within 2 weeks of your scheduled program date, you will be refunded 50% of your program fee. Finally, if you must cancel within 7 days of your program date, you will receive no refund for your program.

Format

1. This program begins by discussing continents.
2. As we "travel the globe", we will see and talk about 3 different animals.
3. We will discuss their habitats and physical features that help them survive there. We also see how these animals are important to us.
4. Q&A will follow the program.

Objectives

1. Students will discover what adaptations animals have to successfully survive in the environment they live in.
2. By looking at 3 different animals, students will discover what makes them important, why we should protect them, and how we can do that.
