Format
1. This program begins with a discussion on what alcohol is
2. Then participants engage in an activity to distinguish
between alcohol-related facts and fiction
3. We talk about the bodily organs that can be damaged by
alcohol
4. Participants will learn what sober means and facts about
sobering up
5. Participants will learn how alcohol affects the brain
Objectives
Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
1. Name one negative effect that alcohol has on the brain.
2. Increase awareness of the dangers of drinking and
driving.
3. Recognize how alcohol is related to a variety of
accidents.
4. Name one way to resist the pressure to use alcohol.
