This is a 1 part series where students will be shown how Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math were used over several hundred years to take roller coasters from dangerous sleds to ultra-complex and safe scream machines! The presentation will be done live in a video game called Planet Coaster, and the talk itself is by Montana's Team KAIZEN, the first Montana game studio to be PlayStation and Xbox certified.

Objectives

1. This program begins with introductions to Team KAIZEN, Montana's 1st PlayStation and Xbox Certified game studio.

2. Team KAIZEN's Lead Game Designer, Josh Hughes, is a roller coaster fanatic, and will talk with students about how he used Frontier Software's Planet Coaster game to build an educational theme park that covers the history and engineering behind the thrills.

3. Students will take a digital tour of the park, learning every step of the way!
