At the Nebraska History Museum, and all History Nebraska Sites, we have thousands of objects that help tell the story of Nebraska's past. Through our virtual programming, we hope to make Nebraska's History accessible to all.

Program Details

Format

Welcome (virtually) to the Piecing Together the Past exhibit! Students will connect via Google Meets, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams with a History Nebraska Educator at the Nebraska History Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska. Together we will explore the exhibit, which centers around the most commonly asked questions about archeology. Some examples of the topics covered are "What is archeology?" or "How do you know where to dig?" This program is designed for students to explore Nebraska history before written records and highlight Nebraska archeologists' work to uncover the past buried beneath our feet.
