NEW LOWER PRICE. Eizabethan Costumes and the way they lived/A Summer Workshop/ Drawings and Collage.

by  Lucienne Sharpe- Touch the Sky

Program image

After viewing the images of the Elizabethan Woman we will use tracing paper and crayons as well as chalks abd colored paper to reproduce our own version of the Elizabethan Woman.
We will examine the patterns of the lace and little shoes as well the collars and ornaments. No art skills are necessary and the lesson is fun. Lucienne Sharpe has studied these costumes at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and will impart her knowledge and expertise to help students draw replicas of the dress and costumes.
We will have a page of drawing at the end of the lesson.
More research can be done afterwards and a portfolio can be developed to show the rich such as the Queen and her servants. The finished drawings can be part of a larger school project or research. A street view with the houses could also be added.
