Imagine seeing the true Macbeth, the love of Romeo and Juliet, or the ability to write a story that gets top marks. Learn the beauty of Robert Browning's The Marriage Portrait, the heartbreak of post-war poetry, and the poems of Maya Angelou.I offer Art as well to develop key skills of line and color focusing on the history of Art and Fashion.I will teach and inspire you, and work with you to enhance both writing and historical skills. I offer books and worksheets to enable you to develop skills for successful outcomes, especially exams.I have won many awards with the CILC.

Program Details

Format

We will begin by having a short discussion about the Characters and what they may have been wearing. Then,using art materials we will create our own versions of each of the Characters of Romeo and Juliet. We will create drawings that are beautiful and imaginative with our own interpretation.
We may use the backdrop of the Globe Theater too.

Objectives

To find out about the costumes of those times and the historical context.
To use design as a means of being expressive for the Arts and the Shakespeare plays.
To use art materials to design costumes.
