World Water Day Virtual Global Youth Summit

  • LIVE 24 hour interactive video event
  • Bringing students of the world together to share water stories
  • Discuss change and advocate FOR EACH OTHER, the need and right for every child to have access to safe water.
  • Meet students in Flint, MI and learn how their lives have changed since lead levels in their municipal water service became toxic.
  • Join a scuba diver LIVE from Reef HQ, Australia as he takes students on a virtual dive in the coral reef to experience the habitats, ecosystems and behavior of reef creatures.
  • Meet Mark Balla, World Toilet Warrior and founder of www.wecannotwait.org. Throughout many trips to India, Mark learned that a vast number of schools do not have toilets and the negative impact this has on female students and staff.

Following the UN Water introduction, Ripples Make Waves launches 24 hours of student and international water expert/advocate presentation.
