International Middle School Seeking Year Long Collaborative Partner
About
This student-led, project-based learning experience provides a unique opportunity for students to collaborate with their international peers to identify and address a global issue they are passionate about. All curriculum will be provided.
Students will work in groups to find innovative solutions to real-world problems, utilizing the cross-cultural communication and responsible tech-use skills they have developed throughout their time in the program. This collaboration will occur asynchronously, synchronously, virtually, and in a hybrid model, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
Partnerships with international peers will enable students to develop a deeper appreciation for diverse perspectives, cultures, and ways of thinking. This experience will encourage students to think critically, creatively, and collaboratively as they develop solutions to complex global challenges.
The program will run for the duration of the school year, with a showcase of learning at the end of the year to celebrate students' achievements and implementation of their solutions. By participating in this collaboration, students will be prepared for future academic and career opportunities that require a global mindset and the skills needed to impact the world positively.

I am an experienced project-based educator. I have been working with my students on identifying issues that they want to change for many years. I can provide materials and many years of experience doing this kind of thing. I have collaborated with international partners before.

I am hoping to find a classroom(s) that are serious about collaboration and understand the challenges of different time zones, cultures, etc. I am pretty easy to work with, but I don't want to promise my students collaboration unless I can deliver it :)
